According to findings by Australia scientists, water and an
appropriate eating habit could help check the loss of memory of the
aged. As we get older,
we tend to suffer from memory degradation or even dementia. An assistant professor
from the Rotary Academy of Science of Sydney pointed out that the consumption of
adequate water and good discipline of food consumption could help old people better their
chances of recovering their memory power. In fact, one of the symptoms of memory
degradation and dementia is the contraction of the brain due to insufficient water supply.
She suggested that old people should drink three liters of water every day, and preferably
water filtered by water processor. Besides, their diet should be based on green
vegetables, cereal and food rich in vitamins.
